RV REGISTRATION SERVICES

Registering your recreational vehicle in Montana is easy and can save you up to $20,000. Any new vehicle you want to buy, or any vehicle you own right now, can be licensed in Montana even if you don't live here. Our office will establish a Montana business entity (usually a Limited Liability Company or LLC) under which you can license and register the recreational vehicle you want to buy or currently own. Since Montana has no sales tax and low registration fees this service can save you substantial costs.

Montana's RV registration fees do not exceed $325.00 (add $35.00 for personalized plates,) whereas many states charge a percentage of the vehicle value when you register or renew registration on your vehicle. But any non-resident can license in Montana instead. This low-cost alternative only takes a few steps:

1. Bjornson Law Offices, P.C. establishes an LLC for you.
2. You purchase the vehicle in the name of the LLC, or transfer the ownership of the vehicle to the name of the LLC. The address of Bjornson Law Offices will be used on all documents pertaining to vehicle ownership and the location of your new company. Your personal name and home address will NOT be used on 'Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin' or the vehicle title.
3. Wait for your new Montana license plates to arrive in the mail.

To establish the new business entity, simply call Bjornson Law Offices and provide your personal contact information and choose the name of your new company. Our staff will draft and file all the necessary documents.

Operating your vehicle under a Montana registration and license may be subject to regulations in your home state. Be aware of state laws pertaining to the operation of a vehicle licensed in another state.
