Who We Are

Firm founder David H. Bjornson, J.D., LL.M., CPA, has spent his 19-year legal career practicing both in Seattle, Washington, and in Missoula, Montana, specializing in business transactions, contracts, corporate law, business organizations, private business financing, real estate, taxation and estate planning and probate. He is currently the principal lawyer in Bjornson Law Offices, P.C., located in Missoula, Montana. From 1993 to 1998, Mr. Bjornson was a partner at Boone, Karlberg & Haddon, a Missoula, Montana law firm. Mr. Bjornson was previously employed by the Seattle law firms of Monahan & Biagi and Bogle & Gates. Prior to law school, he was employed by the international accounting firm of Touche Ross & Co. (1979-1982). From 1999 through 2001, he was an executive officer and board member of Jore Corporation, a significant manufacturer of tools and tool accessories located in Ronan, Montana, with sales of $55 million, which during that tenure successfully completed a public offering of its shares. He holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in taxation from New York University (1988), a J.D. degree (with honors) from the University of Montana (1985), a B.A. degree in Business Administration (with honors) from the University of Montana (1979), and a Certified Public Accountant Certificate (1981) (cert. maint.).

At Bjornson Law Offices we focus on the needs of small to medium-sized businesses in Montana and Washington, including Canadian based companies. We function as a company's general counsel, giving each one of our valued clients prompt personalized attention and cost-effective results. Our track record of success with longstanding clients combined with our ability to provide innovative assistance to start-up and growth companies is a great source of pride in our firm.
